Milan “Bill” Williams was born October 31st, 1954 in Abilene, Texas to Emmett and Lillian Williams. He attended Woodson Elementary and Abilene High School. Milan was a jack of all trades; it was often said if he couldn’t fix it, he would work late into the night until it was done, a true perfectionist. He was a friend to everyone he met, never met a stranger. Family and friends were most important through his life. He would give his last to anyone. Milan joined the Marine Corp in 1972. He had met his long-time love of his life in 1969 and married in 1972 before leaving for the Marines. He served 4 years. After returning home he worked for Gibson Motors and quickly learned the trade of the business. He later went on to get his mechanic certification where he would always be found under someone car doing what he does best. Milan leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 45 years Altus Williams, 3 sons Milan Williams Jr, Willie Key and Jermyia McGlon. Daughter Teneeshin Williams and many others that he was a father to. Brother Donald Williams, sisters Thelma Webber, Carla Elamin and Lillian Nell Tates. His dear mother Lillian Williams. 3 grandchildren Kendra Williams, Decarya Miller and Julian Miller. 8 great-grandchildren a host of nephews, nieces, cousin and extended family along with many friends that he considered family. Milan is preceded in death by his father Emmett Williams Sr., 2 sisters Beatrice McDow, Ida Williams. Four brothers, Emmett Williams Jr., Jesse Williams, Verlie Williams, EL Williams, Richard Williams, Raygene Williams.
