Mr. Hurdis Bonner Jr.

Hurdis Bonner Jr. affectionately known as HB was born September 18, 1961 to Hurdis Bonner Sr. and Macie Bonner, of Fort Worth, Texas. He was the fifth of nine children and attended FWISD schools graduating from O.D. Wyatt High School in Fort Worth, Texas. He was an entrepreneur and enjoyed connecting with people. Everyone who encountered HB's presence was in for a joke, a slick-kind remark, good advice and his signature smile that always lit up a room. Hurdis was married to Perkeshia (Traylor) Bonner October 9, 1996. They were blessed to raise three beautiful children: daughter, Pershea Battles, daughter, Dommanique Bonner and son, Jaleni Bonner all surviving him. On June 24, 2020 Hurdis fell asleep into the arms of Christ with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Additional love ones left to cherish his precious memories are: parents, Hurdis and Macie Bonner Sr.; brothers: Daniel Bell, Murphy Bell (Alma), Kenneth Bolton (Myrtle), Lawrence Edwards; sisters: Patricia Rhodes (Paul), Karen Powell (Todd), Kasan Boyd (Dean) and Gera Butler; grandson, Traylen Battles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.
